“ I had the classic fish and chips. The portions are very generous I get a nice big breaded whole fish. I could not finish it, but it wasn't for lack of trying! It was crispy and flavorful, though when you are eating a whole fish you have to be careful of the bones. I had a nice local beer to accompany my meal, I ate so much I needed to walk it off! ”

“ Awesome seafood shack. I was looking for a good lobster roll, and I found the right place. Dune Brothers is all outdoor sitting, bench tables. The area is well kept and clean. Today was a beautiful day, so it was perfect. I ordered the lobster roll and a glass of the vino Verde. The roll was 39, and it came with fries. And the wine was 10. The lobster roll butter sauce has amazing flavor, but it doesn't overpower the sweetness of the lobster meat. It's a generous portion of fries. They were crispy, and we'll seasoned, not too salty. The only negative I had was the amount of lobster you get for the price. I've paid the same amount in other locations (Boston, Portland), and you get a lot more meat. However, if you're in Providence and are craving a lobster roll, you can't go wrong coming here. ”

“ Going to cut to the chase, this is probably the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had. On a unusually warm day in November we decided to take a quick day trip to Providence to have lunch and get out of Boston. On a friend’s suggestion we decided to try a new seafood shack and wow. As a former hospitality professional, I firmly believe that simple does not mean easy. Even though we saw some pictures of the sandwich online, we were not prepared for how perfected this thing was. The pickles, the slaw, tartar sauce and the batter all provided different and distinct levels of crunch and satisfaction as you bit through each layer. The fish was battered in a tempura-like mix and was so crispy and CRUNCHY. The pickles provided a perfect sweetness and the slaw was a delicious built in palate cleanser between each bite. We decided to order light and just get the sandwich and some clam cakes, but honestly and especially for the price - the portions were super generous! If you’re in Providence and enjoy seafood, THIS IS A MUST ”

“ I tried similar food on the way to cape cod, and it's better HERE! For 43 I got lobster sandwich and a chowder (substitute for French fries). Definitely not the cheapest place, but lobster brioche was fresh, warm and with butter (and not a cheaty mayonnaise!), however smallish. Chowder was made by the hand. I will return if I have a chance. ”
